Brain Power

Resources for Educators, Parents, and Children

Designed for ages 4-11 (adaptable)

Brain Power Awareness is a platform dedicated to increasing brain injury awareness through education in the formative years (ages 4-11) that creates a foundation for a lifetime of brain health.

69 million individuals around the world per year suffer from a reported brain injury (Journal of Neurosurgery). This is approximately the size of the population of the UK (Office for National Statistics). In America, 5 out of 10 concussions go unreported or undetected (CDC). It’s time to start spreading awareness about the importance of taking care of the brain.

About Brain Power Awareness

Brain Power Awareness provides educational resources for parents, educators, and children to encourage a greater awareness about the brain. Brain Power Awareness is about being proactive. It’s about empowering people, starting with kids, with the knowledge of the importance of taking care of one’s brain, spreading awareness for brain injuries and injury prevention, and ending discriminatory stereotypes about those with invisible disabilities and illnesses.
